Case Management
Case management is one of the most important and effective
tools available to help our clients control the indemnity
and medical expenses associated with workers’ compensation
claims.
Thanks to a strategic partnership with Med
New York Management, USA TPA’s nurse case management
services are among the best in the industry. USA TPA offers
this expert nurse case management as a bundled service to
our overall portfolio of TPA services, or it can be billed
on a case-by-case basis. Should you already work with your
existing case management services provider, we would be happy
to partner with them.
Registered Nurses
A team of registered nurses, many of whom carry the certified
case management designation (C.C.M.), act as advocates, not
only for the claimants, but also for the employer, to facilitate
a prompt return to work.
Immediately after a claim is filed the Case Managers develop
a plan of action that will ensure proper medical care and
minimize the cost of unnecessary medical treatment. All along
the way, the nurse case manager stays in continuous communication
with the claimant, their employer, medical providers, and
the USA TPA claims management group. Each of these stakeholders
share the common goal of achieving successful medical outcomes
at the least possible cost, with minimal lost time, and at
a high level of satisfaction.
Extensive Medical Support Network
Our registered nurses have access to an extensive
medical support network including medical specialists, diagnostic
facilities, and board-certified surgeons who act as an extension
of the USA TPA team. Reduced costs for diagnostic procedures,
prescriptions, and durable medical equipment have been negotiated
in advance to further reduce the cost of managing workers’
compensation claims.
Along with the highest level of client advocacy, USA TPA
also provides utilization review, ergonomic work-site evaluations,
loss prevention, employee education, and return-to-work programs.
The maximum caseload for our nurse case managers is 60 cases.
